Makgabeng is a plateau south of Blouberg in Limpopo. It's the Blouberg's unknown cousin, but deserves to be further explored, as it is an almost unspoilt area that is free of development. Hopefully it will stay that way, as there is interest from miners.
This will be joint meet with the MCSA Jhb section and Limpopo CREW (Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers). Hike, climb, botanise, explore, view an amazing volume of rock art. Jonas Tloamma, a very knowledgeable guide, who assisted WITS rock art unit to document the hundreds of rock paintings, will guide us.
No facilities (take everything, including water).
